I find the assumption that Pike is every girl's fantasy a bit presumptuous, and heavily based on Luke Perry on 90210.  Who I tend to rather not care for at all.

However, I DO love Pike.

I agree!!  Besides - I think Steve Himber - James Marster's manager is also manager of Luke Perry!  Cheesy

Did anyone like this movie besides me?!?  I know Joss was unhappy with the way it turned out but as a fan of "B Horror" movies - I just loved it!  (Liked the movie Shadow Puppets and Slither also... Tongue)

So, some love for the movie?? Anyone?  Beuller?

I have to admit that I didn't care for the movie at all when I saw it years ago, however I've been thinking about giving it another shot. Sometimes after a few years I see things differently.

Did anyone like this movie besides me?!?  (Liked the movie Shadow Puppets...)

i liked it then and i like it now. i was in middle school when it first came out, so i'll woman up and admit it, i wanted to see it because luke perry was in it. but then it was good. paul reubens is so funny, kristy swanson is so valley, luke perry is so badass and david arquette is so frickin' goofy! as an adult, i really appreciate the part of buffy's story that the movie captures and even the way it captured it. i mean, how many journeys as important as buffy's begin perfectly? in real life, a journey such as buffy's would have a rough start and even come off as lame to the average bystander. look a noah. i love that ME went back and made the events of the movie (though a little different) canon.

i also liked the movie shadow puppets, except right at the end when jolene blalock is running through the woods, her hair is in a ponytail and then the camera switches angles and suddenly her hair is all loose and flowing. that may be nit picking, but if you watch it, i'm telling you, it's so bad it will almost ruin the movie. almost. i enjoyed it overall.
