I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself to everyone. I'm a 20-year-old college student and I have loved Buffy since I was 7. One could say I am obsessed with Buffy and Dollhouse; love Angel, Firefly and Serenity; and like Dr. Horrible. Last year was my first Dragon*Con and I have never felt a greater sense of belonging than at the Top 10 event. So, thanks for that. My Non-Whedon interests include Doctor Who, Tru Calling, Star Trek, Dead Like Me and The X-Files.

I guess that's about it.

ooo, x-files! the husband and i started rewatching the entire series, but got stuck on season 8 when we moved. we're trying to keep going, but it is not a series that's easy to come by, unless one is willing to pay $40 at best buy.

which we might eventually be. because we just want to watch it.

welcome!

I know exactly what you mean. I have all 9 seasons on DVD and I still have only made it through season 7. I just get so distracted by newer things that my friends want me to watch and I never have time to pick back up with the 8th season. I really should do that sometime.  Grin

Welcome to the forums.

Kolchack: The Night Stalker was probably the first genre show that I really got hooked on.  Yes, I am that old.  I have a daughter older than you.  Wink

However, The X-Files was my first "appointment TV show" that I made sure never to miss even when it was on Friday nights.  Yes, I had no life even back then.  LOL

Thanks for the welcome!

Both the X-Files and Buffy are shows that I first interacted with when I was 6 or 7 years old. Let me tell you, I had very strange nightmares sometimes because of that but I love it anyway. The one episode of the X-Files with the people that looked like trees made me not want to go in my backyard for a long time. Smiley Great memories.
